Sheffield Digital and Sheffield City Council joined forces to run Sheffield’s 1st Annual Digital Conference. This was a one day event for 150 of the city’s digital leaders to look at developing the digital capabilities, economy and reputation of Sheffield. It was also the conference of Sheffield’s emerging digital coalition, which was coming together around seven major city domains in order to collaborate on building digital capability in each of those areas. The conference needed to provide an overview of these seven areas and then offer discussion sessions for them to be explored in more detail. There also needed to be a chance for delegates to vote on new branding options for the Sheffield Coalition. The client wanted the discussion sessions to be ran as an unconference and they came to us to coordinate all of the event logistics in the run up to the event and on the day. The event was a big success and discussions have already began for the 2018 conference.
